During my holidays,I was in a village in Burgundy,it name is Noyers sur Serein,

it's an old little city, it was a roman colony  and after,a fortified place was build

in 860.This village in one of the most beautiful village in France.I choose a

monument in this place,it's the castle,this castle is in a hillock.

The castle was composed of ramparts,towers ,a treble fence of trench,a square  donjon.

The village and the castle and  was the center  of a powerful seignory.

The lord Miles de Noyers lived with his family in the castle.

Now, the castle is a ruin when the tourists visit this place,we just must see two

towers and the old ramparts.They are now a forest in the ruins of the castle.

Henri IV destroyed this castle and the ramparts in 1599.

In the village,we must see sixteen towers,the old houses and the church who

was build in 1489 with the decision of the inhabitants.

After when the castle was destroyed the inhabitants take the stones and build

houses with the stones.

Now,in the place of the ramparts,they are houses and an association want to

rebuild the castle.
