Hermitage Garden Moscow by Christine Matrossova
During Christmas holidays I went ice-skating in the Moscow Hermitage garden with my friends. Soon we became tired and went to visit the garden itself. A big part of it, just near the entrance is occupied by the Hermitage Theater. We turned behind it and we saw an enormous open-air cage with a lot of differnent and marvellous birds. Near the cage there was a children playgroung. When I approached the seesaw, I was very surprised to see a little fluffy squirrel on a tree nearby. Then we saw another, and another one. They were so cute! Then we passed near a small pavilion with a great gothic architecture. On our way we crossed a few restaurants and a Tea culture club. We arrived to the Monument to All Lovers. The monument is an arch in shape of a heart made of metal. Some bells are accroached to the top of it. Two persons in love have to make a wish and to pass through the arch together so their wishes come true. After we passed through the arch we went to see the famous outdoor stage. In summer, a lot of concerts take place here. During our walk we saw a fountain. In summer it is surrounded by flowers, like all the Hermitage. There are two more theaters on the territory of the garden: the New Opera and the Sphera Theater. In general, the Moscow Hermitage Garden is a very nice place, with a wonderfull atmosphere independantly of the season and the weather.
