The Musée d'Orsay is one of the most famous museums in the world.It is located in central Paris , on the banks of the Seine River. This Museum is in the building of the former Gare d'Orsay.The Musée d'Orsay is a big monument which looks like a railway station - which is normal since it was one before it became a museum.The rooms are vast. First you step into a huge room filled with sculptures and on the sides and upstairs are rooms filled with paintings. At the entrance of the museum ther is an elephnat.

The Orsay museum is famous for its collection of Impressionist paintings, with masterpieces by painters such as Monet,Renoir,Cézanne and Van Gogh. I enjoyed this collection but I did not like the temporary exhibition about Oscar Wilde.
